Fitness Coach Daniela Cook in World Handball Championship
Daniela Cook is a member of the Australian Women’s National Handball Team and a Fitness and Massage coach at The Australian Institute of Fitness.
The Australian Team won their game at the International Handball Federation World Championships Qualifiers in New Zealand, with a score of 25 to 15.
Daniela played an impressive game scoring two successive goals part way into the second half. Her agility and speed helped to her successfully intercept and pass the ball to team members, who in turn scored goals for the Australian side.
In total, Daniela scored 4 of the 25 goals that helped the team qualify for entry into the world championships.
Australia will now represent the Oceania Region in the world championship to be held in Brazil in December 2011.
