Rachel Webb – loves to laugh and play!

Rachel completed a Bachelor of Business at La Trobe University and also worked as a nurse’s assistant at the Alfred in Melbourne before deciding to become a Personal Trainer. “I worked at a gym during uni watching personal trainers help train others. I wanted to be a part of the action. “Rachel said. After graduating as a Master Trainer from the Institute in 2009, Rachel was quickly engaged by Lifestyle Fitness at Wheelers Hill.

Rachel commented “The best part of my day - the positive changes that I see I’m making to the health and fitness of our members. I laugh and smile all day at work! I have a varied roster so I have lots of time to do the things I want to do. I love the flexible lifestyle! I’ve also helped clients achieve their goals and been their every step of the way as they work hard towards them. Helping my PT staff gain new clients and increasing their job satisfaction is also extremely rewarding. At the Institute, I loved every minute of it!! Even the bootcamp sessions - those were torture, but GREAT fun.

I was surrounded by some awesome people and really inspirational coaches and have made some of my closest friends during the course. I also loved becoming really fit and becoming motivated by the constant workouts we did in class – it’s really hands on.

Coming from a business background, I was challenged in learning anatomy. It had become an area of interest prior the course so I really enjoyed the challenge I had to make sure I wasn’t having too much fun in class and I was actually getting some work done!!

If you want a career in fitness and are prepared to make the effort, definitely do the  Institute’s Master Trainer course. You’ll earn heaps, gain hands on experience in the classroom and meet some amazing people.”
