Rhys Whittaker is only 21 but has achieved more than most at his age.? His passion for sport and fitness started during his school days, playing semi professional soccer at Westfields Sports High School. It was over this period that he decided a career in fitness is what he wanted.
Clearly focused on a career in fitness, Rhys enrolled at the Australian Institute of Fitness and graduated in 2006 as a Master Trainer. Riding high on finishing his course, he set his mind to starting up his own PT business called OzActive.
OzActive is a rapidly growing mobile PT business which Rhys said was tough getting started but has flourished!? Running his own business is very rewarding and satisfying. His advice to future students is that a solid foundation is the key to success, stay open and never stop learning.
Rhys has a saying, "tough competition is good competition".
