About Solly
Since the age of 5 Solly has been passionate about sport, in particular all things running!? Spending her early years moving through the amateur competition ranks in little athletics, it is of no surprise that Solly found herself wanting to learn more about the sciences involved in how and why our body's move and react in certain ways.? After initially studying Ba. Applied Science (parks, recreation and heritage), Solly changed paths to follow through her primary passion and commenced her degree in Exercise Science and Nutrition.? Through this degree a new passion for nutrition and its integral role in optimum sports performance was established.
Solly's successful university internship at Peak Health and Rehabilitation under Exercise Physiologist, Rob Imeson, led Solly into employment within this business where she worked until her move to Brisbane at the beginning of 2009.? Solly enjoyed rewarding success with an ever increasing personal training and small group clientele base, and established a successful nutrition consultation practice within this business.? Coupled with this, Solly worked privately as a personal trainer and nutritionist whilst starting a new family of her own!
Solly is still a keen runner and enjoys pushing her pain barriers both on the pavement and in the gym.? Solly's most recent exercise craze is running half marathon in the lead up to her first marathons in 2009.? In addition to running, Solly loves a fun exercise class (particularly Boxercise) and exploring Brisbane territory with her family.? Solly is revelling in her new chapter in Brisbane teaching others what she loves at the Australian Institute of Fitness, and watching new fitness warriors embark on their health and fitness dreams!
